This book describes how to use *medicinal plants to treat illness and disease. It explains three ways that people prepare the plants. It includes medical treatments that doctors use at Nebobongo Hospital, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These treatments for various illnesses are based on seven tropical plants. These are plants that people have tried. They have also tested these plants and have done scientific research about them. The text includes a warning to *practitioners to be very careful in their use of *medicinal plants.
