The ideas for the text in this book are from Technical Brief No 39: "Upgrading traditional wells", in Waterlines, vol. 23, no. 2 (2004) that Practical Action Publishing published. That article uses research from the Water Engineering Development Centre at Loughborough University in England and from "Rural Water Supplies and Sanitation" which Dr Peter Morgan wrote. Macmillan in London published his work for The Blair Research Laboratory, Ministry of Health, Harare, Zimbabwe in 1990. MissionAssist published this EasyEnglish edition in the United Kingdom in 2020. |
